Freddy Nock Sets World Record By Walking 420m On Tianmen Mountain Cableway Without Protective Measures

ZHANGJIAJIE, CHINA - JUNE 28: (CHINA OUT) Freddy Nock, known as "Europe's King of the High Wire", walks on the Tianmen Mountain Cableway without any protective measures as a cable car goes by on June 28, 2014 in Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province of China. Freddy Nock, who is a world record holder of various events and known as "Europe's King of the High Wire", once again took on the challenge of walking on Asia's longest and most dangerous cable, the Tianmen Mountain Cableway, without any protective measures. After walking 420 m, he gave up because the slope was too steep and his feet were too slippery. In 2010, Nock did the same challenge at Tianmen Mountain Cableway. He walked for about 200 m before giving up due to severe rolling and shaking of the cable beneath his feet. (Photo by Visual China Group via Getty Images/Visual China Group via Getty Images)
