In this photograph taken on March 18, 2015, residents of Surabaya's former red light district popularly known as Dolly work in a medium sized shoe factory that used to be one of the biggest and well known brothels. The workshop, which employs 30 people, some of whom are former sex workers, produce 50 pairs of locally-branded rubber shoes per day. The local government of Surabaya city located in eastern Java island, shut down the notorious prostitution area in June 2014 and converted several prostitution dens into small scale industry facilities.
