Injured Palestinians being airlifted to Turkey
TEL AVIV, ISRAEL - AUGUST 20: Injured Palestinians wait at Ben Gurion Airport to be airlifted to Turkey for their treatments in Tel Aviv, Israel on August 20, 2014. Turkish National Medical Rescue (UMKE) team members treated wounded Palestinians at the airport ahead of the headway to Turkey. Around 25 other injured Palestinians have already been airlifted to Turkey last weeks. This is part of a plan of Turkey to airlift a total of 200 Palestinians for treatment, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu announced on August 10. The latest victims bring to 2036 the total number of Palestinians killed since the beginning of Israel's military offensive against the Gaza Strip on July 7, Palestinian Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qodra wrote on his Twitter account.
