Supporters chant as they raise their arms after Kenya's Prime Minister, Vice President and Trade Minister among others announced a powerful alliance on December 4, 2012 as running mates in upcoming Kenyan presidential elections due in March. Kenya's Prime Minister Raila Odinga and Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka along with Wetangula and leaders of ten other smaller parties, signed an agreement in front of thousands of supporters to form the Coalition for Reform and Democracy (CORD) party which rivals another coalition between deputy Prime minister, Uhuru Kenyatta with opposition politician, William Ruto both of whom face indictments at the Hague based International Criminal Court (ICC). Odinga is widely tipped to be the presidential candidate with Musyoka as his deputy, although no formal announcement was made.
