(Original Caption) The 560 foot Ohio, America's first Trident submarine floats in her graving dock here at the General Dynamics shipyard in Groton, Connecticut prior to the April 7th christening by Annie Glenn, wife of Senator John H. Glenn, (D-Ohio). The 18,750 ton ship is the largest undersea vessel ever built. At left rear is a hull cylinder of the Georgia, a second Trident submarine under construction. The First Lady, Rosyln Carter will take part in the keel-laying for a third Trident submarine.
