The first Superbus prototype, designed by former Dutch astronaut Wubbo Ockels and his team, is loaded onto a KLM cargo airplane at Schiphol airport on April 6, 2011. The Superbus prototype will be presented in Dubai at the opening of the World Exhibition of the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) hosted by Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), which starts on April 10 and runs until April 14, 2011. Superbus, a fully electrical bus, has a low air resistance and is therefore able to reach 250 kms per hour with passengers on board.
