Paotere Harbor's Porters Struggle With Long Hours And Low Pay

Men labours in Paotere harbour earn their living as a porter to carry sack of cement, rice, flour and bean on their back. They are obliged to live as a small labor and bound to it routine, forced to works all day only for gain a few money. They only get paid between Rp.15.000 (USD 1.33) and Rp.30.000 (USD 2.67) per day.
