After work experience with Depeche Mode and Cure Producer Dave Allen,
John’s music career began as an apprentice sound engineer at a renowned east London studio. It was here that he refined his talents and later that year that John set up Jackdaw Recordings, an online Record label showcasing up and coming artists.
After signing to Cook Shop Records in 2004 John has had 9 singles released and an album in 2007. He received rave reviews from Q, Uncut and Lowdown Magazine; plus radio play from XFM and Radio 1.
Later that year John moved on to play with pop musician Patrick Wolf playing live synths / laptop and sampler at major venues both here and internationally and has also worked with Patrick on production for his forthcoming album.
John has collaborated with many successful artists and in the summer 2009 completed a remix for the Manic Street Preachers: Journal For Plague lover’s Remixes, Released by Sony entertainment. John has scored music to Documentaries on Channel, BBC and written music scores for leading brands. Looking ahead 2010 looks like a busy year…
