Fox and son Sam, 16, are on hand for "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson's...," a benefit dinner held in the grand ballroom of the Waldorf-Astoria hotel on Park Ave. The fifth annual gala, which featured comedy and music, raised funds for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. Fox was diagnosed with the central nervous system disorder in 1991, at the age of 30.
