GHAZIABAD, INDIA - MAY 29: After CBSE declared class 10th results students expressed joy at Vanaspati Public School, Vasundhara, on May 29, 2018 in Ghaziabad, India. Of the 16 lakh students who appeared for the CBSE Class 10 exams this year, 86.70 per cent cleared the exam, which is 4.25 per cent lower than it was last year. The Class 10th board exams were held by the CBSE after a gap of ten years. Between 2007 and 2017, the board followed the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation under which schools were responsible for 80 percent assessment while the remaining was with CBSE.
