1986 Masters Tournament
American professional golfer Jack Nicklaus celebrates with his son and caddie Jackie Nicklaus after sinking a 12 foot putt at the 15th hole for an eagle during the final round of the 1986 Masters tournament at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia on 13th April 1986. As he addressed the ball Nicklaus stood five under par, four strokes behind Seve Ballesteros, who is standing on the hill behind waiting to play his 2nd shot on to the green. The eagle putt took Nicklaus to seven under, while Ballesteros found the water and fell back to eight under. Birdies at the 16th and 17th sent Nicklaus to the clubhouse at nine under, leaving a devastated field in his wake. The win would be Jack Nicklaus' sixth Masters title win at Augusta.
