(Original Caption) Architects drawing of Lincoln Center shows the Theatre for the Dance, in lower left. Clockwise from this are a city park, the new Metropolitan Opera House, the Library-Museum of the Performing Arts, and the Repertory Theatre adjoining it. The Juilliard School and it's residence facilities are shown across 65th Street (upper right). In the lower right is Philharmonic Hall whose construction will begin on Thursday, May 13. A large reflecting pool adorns the plaza between Philharmonic Hall and the Theatre for the Dance. Another pool is placed at the base of of the arches of the Opera House, and another in the spacious court before the Repertory Theatre. Colonnades are placed along the the Center's Columbus Avenue frontage (in foreground) and before the Repertory Theatre and extending over the bridge across 65th Street.
