Arlington, Virginia, resident David Presson takes his daughter Abigail, 8, on a "history & life" lesson and visit Arlington National Cemetery May 28, 2010, placing flowers at the gravesite of US Army Pfc. Ross A. McGinnis, whom they have no direct connection with, and who earned the Silver Star Medal for taking the force of a grenade explosion to save his fellow soldiers in Baghdad on December 4, 2006. Presson and his daughter researched heroic US soldiers and is reading the entire record of McGinnis's heroism, from his Iphone.
