Golden Silk Cape
TORONTO, ON - JUNE 8 - Canadian model Stacey McKenzie wears a cape, made by the silk of 1.2 million female Golden Orb Weaver spiders, inside the The Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto. The cape, which took three years to make, will be on display at the ROM as part of an exhibit called Spiders: Fear and Fascination, opening June 16. Not seen in six years since Victoria & Albert Museum in 2012, it is the first time it will be on display in North America. June 8, 2018.
