(Original Caption) Sacramento: Chicanos held a rally at the state capitol to protest discrimination against Americans of Mexican descent. The rally was held after a group of young Chicanos marched to the Capitol to officially end a 600-mile journey from Calexico. An American flag was burned during the demonstration. 8/7/1971
