A couple of black-and-white ruffed lemur (Varecia variegata) are pictured during the presentation of the new inhabitants of the zoo in Cali, department of Valle del Cauca, Colombia, on May 20, 2010. The black-and-white ruffed lemur is the only species within the monotypic genus Lemur, and like other lemurs, is found only on the island of Madagascar. Only three zoos in Latin American have lemurs.
