ROM curatorial staff artifacts
TORONTO, ON - MARCH 18: David Evans - This skeleton of Parasaurolophus wakeri has been on display for decades, and it still stands as the only known example of this species. What you may not know is that it is the ROMâÿæ¬â¢s global ambassador. Because of its truly bizarre trombone-crested head, it has become a flag-bearer of the fantastic strangeness of dinosaurs. Our Parasaurolophus has been highlighted in hundreds of books, dozens of television documentaries, has appeared on coins and stamps, and made into toys. Casts are on display all over the World, including at the American Museum of Natural History and Londonâÿæ¬â¢s Natural History Museum, and it has inspired hundreds of millions of people.
