Boxer Alexis Arguello Meets with Nicaraguan Rebel Leader
(Original Caption) December 19, 1983-Miami, Florida: Photos taken in southern Nicaragua in mid-October 1983 show former world boxing champion Alexis Arguello meeting with Nicaraguan rebel leader Commander Zero, Eden Pastora, during Arguello's first visit to see the battle against the Sandinista government in his homeland. Arguello expects to return to Nicaragua on Christmas to rejoin Commander Zero and has no plans to return to the U.S. Arguello said that this is his last fight of his life and if he should die it will be for a good cause.
