10 foot diameter pipeline near Saugus High School. The Owens River Aqueduct system near Los Angeles. The series of pipelines and manmade rivers divert and transport water via gravity in to the city of Los Angeles from over 230 miles away. The last 90 miles of the aqueduct runs through pipelines then empties in to a reservoir near San Fernando. The aqueduct supplies over half of LA's water supply.
