Pro-Dewey Students at the University of California

In protest to a recent speech of Harold L. Ickes’, in which the Secretary of the Interior stated that a Trojan horse would be smuggled into the White House if Tomas E. Dewey were elected President, pro-Dewey students at the University of California staged a rally on their campus. Here the youthful Deweyites gather around actor Edward Arnold, also a Dewey rooter, who is speaking to the students. Many of the boys and girls carrying the placards are members of the ‘Students-for-Dewey’ movement.
