MIDEAST-ISRAEL-JEWS-HOLOCAUST-MUSEUM
A journalist films the pictures of Jews killed in the Holocaust at one of the sections of the newly-constructed Holocaust memorial museum, Yad Vashem, in west Jerusalem 10 March 2005. Completely different from the original memorial, the new museum, which is expected to receive some two million visitors a year, is four times larger and makes use of state-of-the art audio-visual technology to tell the story. It will be inaugurated on March 15 in the present of a panoply of international diplomats, including the prime ministers of France, Sweden, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Demnark and Romania, as well as the presidents of Poland, Lithuania, Switzerland and countries in the former Yugoslavia.
