PW/DRACULA MANASSAS, VA 10/15/05 #172800 BY: MARGARET THOMAS TWP Just in time for Halloween the Manasas Dance Company will present a ballet interpretation of Dracula. Set in Transylvania and London, the performance is narrated by Philip Rosemond as Renfield, an insane asylum patient who eats spiders and mice and calls the famous vampire his Master. Count Dracula arrives at his recently purchased London residence to feast on more humans. His first victim is Lucy, who becomes undead and preys on children. Later Dracula attacks her friend Mina. In an effort to save Mina from becoming a vampire herself, a group of Englishmen pursue Dracula to Transylvania and manage to slay the vampire minutes before he reaches his castle. The all new ballet with original music composed by Kim Reynolds and performed by the Kim Reynolds Band, will be presented on October 29 and 30 at Metz Middle School in Manassas.
