Kosovo Albanians waving Albanian national flags take part in a demonstration in Pristina, on November 3, 2017, to protest against the verdict of the Macedonian court that sentenced an eighth ethnic Albanian man to life in prison over a 2015 shootout with police that left 18 people dead. The two-day shootout in May 2015 left eight police officers and 10 gunmen dead, as well as dozens injured -- the worst unrest in Macedonia since an ethnic Albanian insurgency in 2001, which ended with a deal providing greater rights for the minority.
