Case with new name for the disabled person's pass
06 March 2018, Germany, Hanover: The 14-year-old Hannah Kiesbye (R) from Pinneberg in Schleswig-Holstein holds up her self-developed "Schwer-in-Ordnung-Ausweis" (lit.: You're alright ID) during a press conference at the ministry for social affairs of Lower Saxony. Carolin Lutter (L) was the first person to receive a new "Schwer-in-Ordnung" ID case for her disabled person's pass. The ministry for social affairs has taken up Hannah Kiesbye's idea and called on people with disabilities in Lower Saxony to find an alternative to the term "Schwerbehindertenausweis" (lit. "disabled person's pass"), which many find offensive. Photo: Holger Hollemann/dpa (Photo by Holger Hollemann/picture alliance via Getty Images)
