(Original Caption) Middleweight champion Tony Zale of Gary, Indiana, has bandage removed from his broken right hand here, after he successfully defended his crown September 27th, by knocking out Rocky Graziano in the sixth round of their scheduled 15 round bout at Yankee Stadium. Tony conceded that a desperation punch with the broken hand saved his title by flooring Graziano.
