BARCELONA, SPAIN: A necklace created in Parisin 1928 for Sir Bhupindar Singh, maharajah of Patiala (Punjab, north of India), which was found in 1998 in London in very poor condition, is exhibited in a Cartier shop in Barcelona, 11 November 2003. It is the most majestic necklace ever made by Cartier, comprising the De Beers diamond which is missing as well as the original 2,930 diamonds. Five art-deco platinum chains remain and the necklace has been restored with cubic zirconium and synthetic rubies whose color is close to the original Burmees gems. AFP PHOTO LLUIS GENE.
