Both children to adults gathered under a tent on Battle Street to sample Louisiana gumbo and march in a street parade that wound around Old Town. Led by the Mardi Gras King, revelers threw beads and coins to on-lookers. Murphy Cooke wears a jesters hat and mask to the party.
