Blown up Nazi Antitank Gun
(Original Caption) One of General Rommel's famous 88 millimeter antitank guns is pictured after it had been struck by high explosive shells fired by New Zealand 25 pound field guns during a battle on the desert. Note how the Germans blew up the barrel on the gun before abandoning it. This picture backs up the statements of American officers returning from the desert who have said that the Nazi 88mm antiaircraft gun could be dealt with.
