(Original Caption) 7/18/1968-Quito, Ecuador- Farmers hold up placards to spell out the word Revolucion (Revolution), during a march of protest in the Ecuadorean capital. The demonstration was against the killing of ten rural workers in the Province of Loja during a clash with police who tried to dislodge squatters in the area. Also, the farmers were demanding that the government should not stop the Agrarian Reform Movement because of the lack of funds.
