(Original Caption) Sharp-shooter Larry Blades of Dartmouth is carried off the court by teammates after sinking a field goal with one second remaining in the game to give his team a 61 to 59 overtime victory over W. Virginia in the NCAA Eastern playoffs at Madison Square Garden. The ivy league champs, who meet Canisius in the second round Friday night in Philadelphia, thus eliminated the last favorite from the first round playoffs.
