The Cruising Yacht Club at Rushcutters Bay took a turn into the past today, when the jetty was filled with costume from the past. There were ladies with long flowing dresses and sailers who looked as if they had just stopped off an old English cutter. The cast of the HMS Pinafore of The D'Oyly Carte Opera Company was asked out for a cruise of Sydney Harbour by Jim Hardy aboard his 1923 Cutter 'Norida' and so they did and many people on the foreshores must have wondered if the past had come back.
