Castle of Berlanga de Duero and the collegiate church of Santa Maria del Mercado, Soria, Spain - stock photo

The town of Berlanga de Duero is declared a Historic-Monumental Site and has an enviable monumental heritage. The castle of Berlanga dates from the 15th century, although it was built on a Muslim fortress from the 10th century, of which no remains are preserved. It is formed by thick walls that surround the tower of the homage. On the slope of the Castle it appears the main facade of that was palace of the Marquesses (S.XVI) of Berlanga. In the center of the town you can see the silhouette of the collegiate church of Santa Maria del Mercado in Gothic-Renaissance style.
