Ko Haa, Andaman sea, Krabi province, Thailand - November 8 2019: One scuba diver is looking at a plastic water bottle lying at the bottom of the Ocean. Seemingly harmless it represents the massive environmental ecocide issue that is Global Ocean Pollution. Plastic in the Ocean is one of the largest threats to our ocean ecosystems with over 12 million tonnes dumped in the sea every year. Discarded, abandoned or obsolete items which become dangerous garbage are responsible for the deaths of huge amounts of Marine Life every year, through entanglement and consumption. The location here is Ko Haa Islands, Krabi, Thailand. I removed the plastic after taking the image.
