Traditional Danish dish of Flæskesteg or Roast Pork. - stock photo
Joint of pork or Flaeskesteg resting after being taken out of the oven. This is a very traditional dish from Denmark. The skin of the pork is cut then salt is rubbed into it, then dried bay leaves and cloves are inserted into the cuts to give the cooked meat a distinctive taste and smell. Colour, horizontal, overhead view with some copy space, shot on location in a restaurant on the island of Moen in Denmark, traditionally served with red cabbage and apple.
