Riots In Greece After Austerity Measures Passed
VOICED: Athens has seen another day of mass protests and violence, after the Greek government voted for new austerity measures aimed at saving the country from defaulting on its debt. Politicians were forced to accept the package of spending cuts and tax increases to secure a new multi-billion euro bailout. MPs passed the measures by 155 votes to 138, provoking a furious response from demonstrators.
