Native to southern Japan and southern China, lilium speciosum is an East Asian species of plants in lily family. It is also called Japanese lily, although the name includes other species. The flowers are pink or white in color with pink specks, flowering in July, August and September, with strong scent.
In Japan, it is listed as an endangered species.
