The Mendip Vintage & Classic Car Tour comes to Wells

Now in its 19th year and organized by the Classic & Historic Motor Club, this year's event will once again raise funds for the charity, Riding for the Disabled. Open to 150 pre-1993 cars, light commercial vehicles and motor cycles, the wide variety of entrants includes rare and exotic cars ranging from a hundred years in age to modern classics. All cars followed a scenic, 77-mile route starting at the Somerdale Conference Centre in Keynsham and ending in front of Wells Cathedral.
