Vice President Pence Swears Dan Coats as Director of National Intelligence

President Mike Pence says that he has known former Senator Dan Coats for years, appreciating his continuing to serve the United States in the vitally important role of Director of National Intelligence. Pence the presence of Senators, describing the political career of fellow Hoosier Coats, marked by his ambassadorship to Germany, joking that in trying to retire, he failed twice.
