Jones says porn is now prevalent, it’s almost part of our mainstream, it felt like it was time to investigate into the industry, it’s a totally unregulated industry, this particular part of the industry, amateur porn, is not really amateur porn, it’s just made to seem like amateurs are involved, they attract 18-year-old girls to come work with the promise of glamor and success and fame, the reality is a little different from that, one of the goals of the movie is there is no kind of girl that ends up here, it’s not about people from broken homes to fill some hole in their heart, these girls have great families and boyfriends, it’s now just an acceptable way to make fast money, one couple in the film, Tressa and Kendall, were great, Kendall is kind of a sage, he’s the voice of reason, he supports the fact that women want to make their money and it feels empowering but there is a cost to that for some women, he encourages his girlfriend to see the cost is too high, “Angie Tribeca” is a silly show, it’s like “Police Squad”, it’s dumb, it’s broad and a lot of fun, her costar Hayes MacArthur is kind of like Geist’s doppelganger, she’s a writer on “Toy Story 4” which will be out in 2017. Geist and Jones pose together to recreate the photo of Jones and MacArthur. Jones says “Angie Tribeca” is her favorite kind of comedy.
