I hope we can survive. HODA KOTB (10:11:46): I don’t know if we can. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:11:48): I don’t know. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:11:48): Come on, it's fine. Everything's fine, it's a live show, everyone's behaving themselves. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:11:53): I hear Tammy's been having a little trouble in the booth, in the control room. HODA KOTB (10:11:56): In the control room. Yeah. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:11:57): Is that good for something? KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:11:59): Yeah, she's our executive producer. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:12:00): Oh, I see what you mean. Yeah. All right. HODA KOTB (10:12:02): She's got a bag. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:12:02): She’s got a bag. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:12:02): I thought she was like, you know, just having trouble in her booth. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:12:06): No, no, no. She's praying this all goes okay. Okay. Have you ever heard of something called the social cues? CRAIG FERGUSON (10:12:11): Social cues. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:12:11): I bet you don’t live by the social cues. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:12:13): Well, what is it? HODA KOTB (10:12:14): It's a column. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:12:14): It’s a column. HODA KOTB (10:12:14): Yeah. It's in The New York Times and there's a guy who writes it and people ask for advice. So there was one question about baby talk and here's this question. A woman wrote in saying she notices that her colleague keeps talking in an exaggerated baby voice when men are around. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:12:29): Good girl. HODA KOTB (10:12:29): She doesn't speak that way around regular people. She said it makes me cringe. Not only is she demeaning herself but I find it demeaning to women. Should she say something? Like when a woman is there, she's talking about when a guy comes in she's like you can show me how-- I don't know how to do it. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:12:45): I just don’t realize too attractive. I can hardly contain myself. I don't feel manipulated in any way. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:12:53): Well, Philip Galanis, he’s a great guy. He says because she's a colleague and not a friend, you shouldn't say anything. HODA KOTB (10:13:00): Would you say something if something-- KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:13:01): I would say right out to her, why in the world does your voice change when men are around and you talk to us like did you hear what happened on Game of Thrones? HODA KOTB (10:13:08): Yeah. Yeah. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:13:09): You know? HODA KOTB (10:13:10): Yeah. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:13:10): Why not just put it out there? CRAIG FERGUSON (10:13:12): You're so right. Everything you say is right. I love you guys. HODA KOTB (10:13:16): Is that your baby talk? CRAIG FERGUSON (10:13:17): That-- HODA KOTB (10:13:18): What is that? CRAIG FERGUSON (10:13:18): It’s kind of-- I think it's kind of like an interior designer baby, like I'm a baby but also this has got to change. This mobile thing, it's spinning around, around, it's boring, no one's interested. Come on. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:13:33): So you don't like baby talk. Do you talk-- when had you your babies, did you talk-- CRAIG FERGUSON (10:13:36): I talk baby talk to babies, of course. I mean, otherwise they don't understand you. Like hey, drive down to the store and get my cigars, junior. They're like-- KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:13:46): So you have a mushy side. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:13:47): I do have a mushy side. Yeah. Sometimes it's-- god, I'm going to say something very rude and then I thought, no, it’s a live show. HODA KOTB (10:13:56): Don't do that. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:13:56): Okay. HODA KOTB (10:13:56): Well, here's another annoying behavior. They say that women who play with their hair. And does-- KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:14:00): They're mean. HODA KOTB (10:14:01): Yeah. Twirl it. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:14:03): Twirl it. Twirling it seems very young. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:14:05): No. I thought that was a secret signal. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:14:06): Please keep your peanuts in your mouth. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:14:08): So did I spit peanuts on. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:14:09): You did. But I kind of liked it. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:14:10): You say to get-- what did you say? Keep my peanuts? KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:14:14): Peanuts in your-- HODA KOTB (10:14:15): All right. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:14:15): All right. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:14:15): Yes. HODA KOTB (10:14:16): So do you find this-- do you find the twirling hair annoying? CRAIG FERGUSON (10:14:19): No, I thought twirling hair was I would have sex with you. I thought it was like-- I thought it was a cue. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:14:26): It probably is. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:14:26): No. I thought that’s what it was. It’s like I know we were all agreed. Look, we can't actually come out and say these things to the show. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:14:32): Yes. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:14:33): But it's like, uh-huh, uh-huh, it's like a secret sign. It's not-- that's not a thing? KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:14:38): It's not a secret? CRAIG FERGUSON (10:14:40): Oh. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:14:40): Yeah. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:14:41): It's a secret sign. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:14:41): Secret. Okay. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:14:44): Oh, hey, how you doing? KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:14:46): Yes. And it's hard to do if have you short hair. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:14:49): I know. Well, yes, it is. Yes, it is. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:14:53): All right. Does this bother you? HODA KOTB (10:14:55): What? CRAIG FERGUSON (10:14:55): What? KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:14:56): What was it? HODA KOTB (10:14:57): People that say like all the time. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:14:58): Oh, yeah. People that go, well, it was like, you know, like, whatever, does that bother you. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:15:04): A little bit. Yeah. But it bothers me a little bit. But I never go to the San Fernando Valley anymore. So I don’t hear it that much anymore. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:15:09): Hear it that much anymore. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:15:10): Yeah. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:15:10): Yeah. Yeah. That’s entrenched. HODA KOTB (10:15:11): All right. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:15:11): Yeah. Right there. HODA KOTB (10:15:12): So here's a question that there's another one called Dear Prudence. So this girl is dating this guy and they're living together and she said she went and was looking through some of his stuff and she noticed that he kept a box of old nude photos of his previous girlfriends and saved them. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:15:29): This is me, isn't it? You guys have been in my stuff. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:15:34): Tomas let us look in your bag. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:15:37): The trouble isn’t mine, they’re all like taken in the-- like in the kind of Victorian costume and all that kind of stuff with a Western hat on. HODA KOTB (10:15:44): Now, the guy, the boyfriend says he does not want to get rid of them. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:15:48): He’s got to get rid of them. HODA KOTB (10:15:50): Do you think? CRAIG FERGUSON (10:15:49): Yes. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:15:49): He doesn't want to. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:15:50): Yes. HODA KOTB (10:15:50): He says he wants to-- CRAIG FERGUSON (10:15:51): Well, you know what? If he wants anymore hair twirling, he better get rid of them. HODA KOTB (10:15:54): Right? You think it's weird that he wants to hold on to them? CRAIG FERGUSON (10:15:57): No, it's not weird. It’s just like, you know, you have to compromise. It’s like, you can’t have-- KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:16:01): What if a girl-- and what if your girl, your woman had that, you know, a box of pictures she didn’t want to get rid of either? HODA KOTB (10:16:06): Of naked men. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:16:08): First of all, I’d be-- I don’t know. Maybe this is chauvinist of me. I'd be interested to see how many pictures there were. Is that weird? Is that like a chauvinist-- KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:16:16): And how many different subjects. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:16:17): Yeah. Yeah. I'd be like wait, really? And then I’d be like-- you know, I'm quite competitive so I'd be like really? KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:16:24): And then you see that-- CRAIG FERGUSON (10:16:24): Oh, that you were happy with. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:16:26): And your cousin Harry and your friend Bob and-- CRAIG FERGUSON (10:16:30): My cousin? KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:16:31): Yeah, she’s going-- you're going through them and it’s all-- CRAIG FERGUSON (10:16:33): Oh, it's people I know. No, I don't want that. No, that's terrible. If it was her cousin that would be-- HODA KOTB (10:16:40): All right. You know what I think it's time for? Kathie Lee is going to do a-- KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:16:43): Oh, no, he's so much funnier. HODA KOTB (10:16:44): No, but come on. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:16:45): He can do it without looking. A cold read on the Friday Funny. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:16:50): Okay. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:16:51): Okay. Go for it. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:16:51): Well, I have to do it now. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:16:52): Yes, right now. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:16:54): All right then. A poodle and a collie been walking down the street. And the poodle turns to the collie and says my life is a mess, man. My owner and I are getting on each other's nerves; my girlfriend-- this dog has a girlfriend? This is like a movie. My owner's getting-- my girlfriend is having an affair with the Labrador next door and I'm as nervous as a cat. Why don't you talk to a psychiatrist suggested the collie. It’s impossible said the poodle. I'm not allowed on the couch. Whoever wrote that’s fired. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:17:28): You see why I wanted you to do it. CRAIG FERGUSON (10:17:30): Yeah, yeah. No, you clearly read it first. HODA KOTB (10:17:31): Coming up, nothing is funnier than kids and animals. KATHIE LEE GIFFORD (10:17:33): Oh. Viral videos that are going to make your day after this. If you can stand anymore.
