Baby Chameleon Sitting on a Zoo Attendant's Fingers

(Original Caption) An inch-long baby chameleon, one of 16 born last week at the Washington Zoo, perches on the finger of a zoo attendant and looks him right in the eye. The chameleon, which isn't very pretty, is one of the six that have survived so far and there is little hope that the youngsters will live in the Washington climate. Their parents are natives of East Africa.
