On The Set Of An Indian TV Production

A character from Husn E Jaana, a period drama set in the 19th Century about the life of a Courtesan in Uttar Pradesh. Produced by India Today it was an early Indian TV Production which employed the film making skills of the Director Muzaffar Ali adapted to a Television audience. Filmed at his home in Kotwara near Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh Muzaffar’s fashion designer wife Meera Ali produced the elaborate period costumes and sets. The main characters were portrayed by Rubaina Khan and Muzaffar’s son Murad and his other son, Bollywood Film Director Shaad Ali assisted making it a family affair.
