Families with disabled children disappointed with Maine Department of Health and Human Services
AUGUSTA, ME - AUGUST 17: Chris and Sue Landreth restrain Ethan Poulin's arms after a brief, violent outburst inside Lowe's Home Improvement store. Poulin is diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and intermittent explosive disorder. Every Thursday, Poulin leaves his home in Auburn, to visit his stepfather and mother in Manchester. From there, they visit Poulin's grandmother in Augusta, then drive to Lowe's so he can see the lawnmowers. Afterward, they return to Manchester for a family meal, which includes two of Poulin's direct service providers from the group home.
