ARGENTINA-STOCKBREEDING-MEAT-PROCESSING PLANT
Employees slaughter bovines at the workers' cooperative meat processing plant Yaguane, in the Argentine province of Buenos Aires, 29 July 2005. The plant slaughters some 3.500 head of cattle a day and has been granted the Hilton Quota - an agreement that allows the export of a significant part of selected high value cuts of meat free of prohibitive trade barriers, and that will be put into action in September 2005.
