KATHMANDU, NEPAL - 2015/05/05: A handicap woman sit outside in her temporary shelter at relief camp. People are waiting for the distribution of water and food supplies. The avenue for royal horse races and military parades, has turned into a refugee camp filled with garbage and overflowing public toilets. There are close to 15,000 people in the camp, many of whom were living outdoors for fear of the aftershocks. With little access to safe drinking water and flushing latrines, there are fears of a possible public health disaster. Two mobile toilets for some 3,000 refugees has led people to defecate in the open, mostly after dark. Soldiers have been distributing water bottles and fliers to avoid any epidemic.
