A dozen of women rallied outside the chancellery of the Prime Minister to put pressure on the Polish PM Donald Tusk to keep his last year's election campaign promises to depenalize assistance in abortion and, finally, legalize the prcedure in order for it to be safe and legal. November 28, 2024 also marks the 106th anniversary of granting women the right to vote and stand for election in Poland. The decree issued by the Chief of State Jozef Pilsudski on November 28, 1918 placed Poland amongst the most democratic and progressive European states.
