Senator Flake labels Trump foreign policy tweets creepy nihilism
Arizona Senator Jeff Flake says consistently ridiculing allies by suggesting they somehow abused the United States while voicing admiration for despots and dictators represents a fundamental departure in behavior, a fundamental misunderstanding of alliances, upending the international framework painstakingly constructed and cultivated, that issues ought to be addressed through constructive dialogue and not bellicose taunts or tweets that project some sort of creepy nihilism but it was an obligation to call what was happening by name.
