Stennis (CVN 74) transited Puget Sound, Washington, to begin sea trials Aug. 11, 2017. Thev John C. Stennis departed three days ahead of schedule during a planned incremental availability (PIA) at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility.
