Seoul, 03 May (EFE).- (Camera: Atahualpa Amerise) 'Kaegogi' the traditional South Korean dish that literally means "dog meat" is enjoyed by millions of inhabitants, although the minority against this thousand-year-old dish tradition is rising progressively. With a strong taste, deep scent and a tough texture, the dog's meat is considered a tasty morsel for most of the fellow dinners who enjoy this dish occasionally due to his high price (among 10 and 15 euros) according to the average of the prices in Korea. But not every South Korean agree with this traditional food because they consider that the dog is a smart animal not assigned for the human feeding. Besides the animal protective groups mantain that the dogs live in very small cages with no sanitary conditions Meanwhile, exclusive restaurants countinue offering 'Kaegogi' and his most well-known dish, the 'Boshintang' (soup of dog that supposedly is a sexual invigorating), for the pleasure of lovers of the traditional food and tourists who want to taste new flavours.
